Sandra Samuel, the nanny for Rabbi Gavriel Holtzberg and his wife, Rivka at the Chabad House in Mumbai, was one of the heroes of last weeks events.

Finding the 2 year old son standing next to his (apparently)  unconscious parents, Samuel grabbed the child and ran out of the house, daring the terrorists to shoot at her.  Apparently, even the child was hit by the terrorists.  The parents were ultimately tortured and killed.

Samuel, an Indian citizen, has gone to Israel with the boy, who has grown an attachment with her since being orphaned.  Samuel, a christian, has said that she will stay with the boy as long as he needs her.

There are still heroes in this world.
